This project began as a study in mark making through alternative methods. I utilized tools such as sticks, sponges, and fingers, and techniques including stencil, transfers, spills, and splatters, to make my marks onto the paper. However as I worked on this series it became more elaborate and the narrative became more complex.

The project eventually developed into a collaborative with my sister and the narrative became very personal to the both of us.
