		Over the past year I have spent a lot of time in the Catskills of Woodstock, New York. My mother had began to grow a flower garden, and in a few shorts months in spring, seeds had sprouted to beautiful mature flowers. Although It may sound cliché, I was inspired by a sort of "Flower Power" I found in woodstock. Flowers became an intense investigation of mine.They are now a reoccurring theme in my work, both because of their fluidity and there symbolism pertaining to my mother, fertility, and regrowth.
