I work with a wide range of media and pursue art, design, and illustration in an explorative, playful, and ever evolving manner.

As a youngster I grew up in my family’s retail shops and lived between the Florida Keys and the North Coast of the Dominican Republic, absorbing and incorporating in my style vivid colors, patterns, signage, and more recently popular culture.

I began my career working for contemporary art galleries and museums producing exhibition catalogues and identities. I have published work for the Moore Space and the Moca.

In 2007 I received and excellence award in design from the Graphic Design Department at UM. I was an award recipient of the NFAA (National Foundation for the Advancement of Arts) in 2001, and the silver portfolio award in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards in 2001.

I received my BFA from the University of Miami in Graphic Design and Multimedia. I also graduated from New World School of the Arts in downtown Miami.
